before i begin, here's a photo of Matt's board hours before it got taken by jake.


If you have lived in Nashville throughout the past 4 or 5 years give or take a few, and skated, the name Brandon Wall has probably come up. Whether you were good friends with him, skated with him, looked up to his ability to ride a skateboard, or wore a Rainy Day tee you have probably heard the name. B-Wall is a very dear friend of mine, and ever since he has been traveling and filming amazing skateboarders on the Reliance Skateboard team i don't get to see him as often as i used to. Brandon is an odd character. You can't ever take him seriously. He's a jokster, a prankster, and a sarcastic bastard, no offense... (hahahaha, atleast the B-Wall i know!) and he can make some funny-ass faces.

i know i know, i havent posted in a while... fuck you ive been busy and a little stressed.

i still work at the carwash, quel baught one of these,

this blog is more about what happened yesterday and today...

prepare for the bullshit...

my friends jon matt and myself were skating at this spot in the bicentennial mall then this cop rushed over and said, "ya'll cant be doing that here!! gimme them skateboards!" so at first of coarse we were a bit skeptical, then that mother fucker pulled out his baton and about whipped me with it... so we handed em over real quick along with jons camera. then we proceeded to walk to the front office arguing and cursing at this cop. then we got to the front and he was juggling 3 skateboards, his baton, and the keys to the door. so he handed me the camera after him and jon argued about him handing me the camera. then the cop turned around to open the door. so we looked at each other and when he got the door open and went inside, we ran.

good idea right??

so we ran around downtown for fuckin ever it seemed like and finally jon got his girlfriend carly to pick us up

so we thought we were in the clear, but i wasnt, because my car was still parked at the fuckin park. somehow that fuckin prick knew which car was mine, though he didnt have any of my information, and put a fucking boot on back left tire.

(this is the shortened version. there is way more to that last paragraph)

and the rest is history

so now i have to go get my mug shots made n shit... then pay a fine probably.

july 4th, just another day...

fuck holidays, even if they do involve fun little explosives. the 4th of July was just another day of skateboarding for me and the crew. there are a few good reasons you should take advantage of skating on a holiday. one is that if there is an event going on (for instance a fireworks display) every fuckin' cop is gonna be there to control all the drunk mother fuckers that cannot contain themselves, either that or they are there to block streets (thanks to ALOT of you cops for doing that, that made my life a whole lot easier while i was looking for a parking spot...). and another reason holidays are good is because a bunch of places are closed, so go skate em.

now, i'm not saying i utilized these great tidbits of information on the 4th, i'm just letting you know that they exist.

oh wait, we skated legislative for a while during the fireworks display... Con Permiso(working at the carwash has payed off a little bit with the spanish)... Keegan was Nate's skate-whore while the fireworks blasted off in the background of some clips Nate filmed for his upcoming video. good job to the both of you.


and good luck on your voyage back to the ATL Nate, who is also bringing along Keegle... i'll be down there soon enough...

not setting your white balance can give you an eerie aesthetic, because if you were outside on the 4th, you know that it was a pretty and sunny day...
